Safe Horizon collects restitution payments from the perpetrator of a crime (defendant) as part of a sentencing agreement in a criminal case in New York City. After a defendant has made a payment, restitution funds are disbursed out to the victim(s), provided there is accurate and updated contact information on file. Through the online form below, Safe Horizon will determine whether it has your most current information so that you can receive your payment when the money is available. If your information is outdated or incomplete, you can update your information by responding to the email you will receive in response to your inquiry.
