Safe Horizon is an incredible organization dedicated to supporting victims of violence in NYC – helping more than 250,000 people move from crisis to confidence. The organization offers immediate and practical support like a new front-door lock, a hot meal, a trusting adult to talk to, and a safe place to sleep, as well as deep and ongoing services like mental health counseling, help finding a place to live and to work, and assistance navigating oppressive legal systems.
