On Wednesday, May 11th, we held our 21st Annual Champion Awards Dinner at the Grand Hyatt in New York City. The event, honors those who champion the rights of victims, brought together advocates for survivors of violent crime and abuse for a cocktail hour, dinner, and silent auction to raise awareness and support of our services and programs which touch the lives of 250, 000 people every year.

Stanley Litow, VP of Corporate Citizenship at IBM, received the Distinguished Service Award.
Kirby Dick and Amy Ziering, director and producer of the critically acclaimed documentary The Hunting Ground, each took home the Voice of Courage Award.
Stephen and Carolyn McCandless. were both were honored with the Humanitarian Award. Stephen is a member of our board of directors and also volunteers his time each week at our Manhattan/Bronx Community Program office
