Community and Restorative Practices

Finding safety and healing together.

Our Community and Restorative Practices offer holistic mental health and healing services to anyone experiencing trauma from violence, abuse, or exploitation, including children. Clients may be referred to us in crisis, or come to us on their own for help regaining their sense of safety and wellbeing. We offer client-centered, trauma-informed support to people of all ages, genders, and other identities, regardless of legal or immigration status.

Our Community and Restorative Practices include:

Community Programs

From lock changes to group counseling to case management, we offer services to support survivors along their journey to safety and healing across four locations in the city.

A Safe Way Forward

We offer safety planning for adult and children survivors of domestic violence, as well as the person causing harm in their household.

Child Trauma Response Team

We offer immediate and short-term support to address the harmful impact of trauma on children and their caregivers following incidents of domestic violence.

Counseling Center

We focus exclusively on trauma treatment for survivors of all ages at our Counseling Center. The Counseling Center is the only New York State licensed mental health clinic of its kind.
