Senior Vice President & Portfolio Manager, Well Fargo Advisors
Mark C. Smith joined the Board in 2013. He is a Senior Vice President – Financial Advisor at Well Fargo Advisors. Mark currently serves on the Executive Board of the President’s Council at Fordham University and as Board Chair of the Bridgeport Field of Dreams Foundation. Politically, he was notably on the national finance committee for President Obama.

Jeff Brodsky
Senior Advisor, Morgan Stanley
Jeff Brodsky is a Senior Advisor at Morgan Stanley, where he has had a 37-year career of which he spent 10 years as the Chief Human Resources Officer and member of the Management and Operating Committees. In his current role, he works directly with senior leaders and the Board of Directors on a range of matters. In 2011, Jeff was named the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), and he held that position through early 2021, when he became a Vice Chairman of the Firm. During his tenure as CHRO, Jeff transformed the HR function in order to support the Firm as it moved into a period of unprecedented growth. He led many initiatives to modernize and support the global workforce, which included a substantial focus on culture, values, and mental health. Jeff successfully led through several periods of crisis, including 9/11, the financial crisis, and COVID-19, and was involved in the integrations of Smith Barney, E*TRADE, and Eaton Vance. Additionally, during this time, he worked alongside the CEO and board members to build a dynamic leadership team and robust succession strategy. Jeff is the Board Chair for non-profit organization, Safe Horizon. He serves on the Board of Directors and Chair of the Compensation Committee for Accolade, Board of Directors for Vialto, and Advisory Board for Private Medical. He was previously on the Board for University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. Jeff earned a B.S. in accounting from Binghamton University and is married with three sons.

Susan Reid
Global Head of Talent, Morgan Stanley
Susan Reid is a Managing Director, Global Head of Talent and a member of the Firm’s Management Committee. As Global Head of Talent, Susan works closely with the Firm’s leaders to attract, retain and advance the Firm’s talent. Her remit includes leadership for Diversity and Inclusion, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Development.
Susan has over 25 years of human resource experience across a broad range of industries including financial services, telecommunications and higher education. Susan joined Morgan Stanley in 2008 as a Human Resource Business Partner supporting the Investment Management division. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Susan held a number of roles at various companies, including Human Resource Business Partner, and Head of Campus Recruiting and Diversity at Marsh and McLennan Companies, Head of Campus and Diversity Recruiting at Bell Atlantic, Head of Recruiting at RR Donnelley’s financial services division and Head of Employment at New York University. Prior to transitioning to Human Resources, Susan developed and led programs at New York University to retain and graduate academically gifted students from under-represented groups.
Susan serves on the boards of the Morgan Stanley Foundation and Safe Horizon, is an advisory board member for Catalyst and iMentor New York City, and is a member of the Executive Leadership Council. Susan has a degree in Economics and Political Science from New York University and lives in Harlem, New York.
