María de los Ángeles Corral Appointed New Sr. VP at Safe Horizon

María de los Ángeles Corral has been named Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Safe Horizon.
Founded in 1978, Safe Horizon provides assistance to homeless youth and families and victims of homicides, domestic violence, Cheap Special Occasion Dresseschild abuse, rape, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Services including shelter, mental health counseling, and legal services are offered through 57 locations across the New York City region. Safe Horizon also strives to prevent violence, and promote justice for victims, their families and communities.
Corral previously ran communications and marketing at the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago, where she developed model programs that were adopted by chapters across the country, including award-winning public engagement campaigns. Corral also led the first U.S. Hispanic market branding campaign for Walgreen Company. Prior to joining Safe Horizon, Corral headed Latino communication strategy at the College Board.
Corral has dedicated the past 11 years of her career to working for organizations whose missions are to provide critical support to those in need, from emergency health care and disaster relief to education services. While at the College Board, Ms. Corral’s communications and marketing efforts contributed to strengthening the organization’s infrastructure to more widely and effectively serve Latino markets.
