Ways to Make a Difference as a Corporate Partner

SafeWork: At Safe Horizon, we know that domestic violence impacts the lives of thousands of working women and men every day and affects the financial strength and success of the companies for which they work. SafeWork is a unique training and education program that helps companies keep their employees safe and protect their bottom line. Learn more.

Sponsor a Program: Throughout the year, Safe Horizon’s programs require ongoing support, from back-to-school drives to holiday toy drives to winter coat drives. To meet the needs of our programs, we encourage companies to sponsor a program. Find out how your company can help.

Cause-Related Marketing Promotions: With a cause-related marketing promotion, a percentage of your company’s revenues would be donated to Safe Horizon. This will help your company promote its products while supporting a great cause.

Consumer Donations: Retailers can offer their customers a chance to add a contribution to Safe Horizon when doing their purchases. This can be done either in store or online. These types of point of sale promotions are proven to generate customer and employee goodwill.

Direct Donations and Sponsorships: Companies can make donations for any amount to support our mission in general or toward a specific program area. Safe Horizon also offers multiple annual sponsorship opportunities for companies.

Employee Involvement: Through matching gifts or payroll deductions, employees can give with more capacity and help protect children and families who are victims of violence. Foundation Support: Company foundations can give donations of either funds or services. This support is vital to Safe Horizon and our continuing programs for victims of violence.

Gifts-in-Kind: Companies can donate products or services that help Safe Horizon carry out our mission to help families in crisis. Examples of great contributions include food, clothing, toys, vans, furniture and other household furnishings, books, computers, software, hotel rooms, and airfare.

Workplace Giving: A workplace giving campaign is an annual employee giving charitable campaign. When employees give through their place of employment, it creates morale and fosters team building. It also empowers them to know they are helping through an important cause and giving a voice to those who need it.

Workplace Volunteering: You and your colleagues can provide direct help to Safe Horizon’s clients through Corporate Volunteering. Whether your company wishes to volunteer for a day or to make a long-term commitment, we will work with you to arrange a project that best meets your company’s schedule and that of our clients.
