On Thursday, December 6, the New York City Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW-NYC) hosted its 6th Annual Leadership Awards Dinner. The event recognizes social work leaders who have made substantive contributions to the field and demonstrated outstanding leadership, expertise and dedication to the profession and to the improvement of social and human conditions in the New York City area. Safe Horizon’s Maureen Curtis and Amy Edelstein were among the 26 award recipients selected by NASW-NYC in the Mid-Career Exemplary Leaders and the Emerging Leaders categories, respectively.
