On Thursday, March 7, Avaloy Lanning, Senior Director of Safe Horizon’s Anti-Trafficking Program, will be among the speakers at New York Anti- Trafficking Network’s NGO Commission on the Status of Women Forum Parallel Event, “Promoting Human Rights and Ending Trafficking in Persons.” The panel, to be held in honor of Women’s History Month, will feature discussion by program and policy experts as they examine the dynamics of vulnerabilities, and the promotion of human rights-based and long-term solutions to trafficking in persons.
