On Thursday, November 1, Safe Horizon will re-open most of its program locations to assist victims of crime and abuse. As Hurricane Sandy continues to impact New York City, the NYC metropolitan region, and many other regions along the East Coast, we also continue to hope for the safety our clients, staff, and supporters during this time.

24-hour and emergency services: Hotlines, Domestic Violence shelters, Streetwork shelter and other locations

These are operating with limited services but are open and available for client support.

As we continue to recover from the storm, the following sites will remain closed because of power outages or lack of essential services that make operations possible:

Safe Horizon administration offices (2 Lafayette Street in lower Manhattan)

Manhattan Family Court office and children's center

Streetwork Lower East Side Drop-in Center

Lang House Shelter

Staten Island Children's Center

We will continue to update the website with further information as we receive it from our locations.

Thank you for your support.
