Hell Gate is the latest novel from Safe Horizon board member and bestselling mystery author Linda Fairstein. In her recent book, her protagonist, Alex Cooper, tackles the horrific issue of human trafficking and its effects on its victims.

In addition to taking on human trafficking in Hell Gate, Linda mentions one of Safe Horizon's shelters, where a victim of trafficking can likely find refuge from exploitation and abuse.
