Actress Emmy Rossum, who starred in “Day After Tomorrow,” “Phantom of the Opera,” and now stars in the new Showtime series “Shameless,” has teamed up with fashion designer Elie Tahari to design a special handbag for the Spring 2011 collection – a handbag that can also help families facing crisis.
As part of Ms. Rossum’s partnership with Tahari, she has generously designated 10% of proceeds from the sales of the Emmy Handbag to help Safe Horizon, providing support for our hotlines, shelters, and other services for victims of domestic violence.
The special Emmy Handbag will be available during March, April, and May 2011 in three different styles: Natural raffia for $398, glove leather for $548, and glove leather with stitching for $798.
We thank Ms. Rossum and Mr. Tahari for their wonderful contribution to Safe Horizon and for providing children, adults, and families with their chance to overcome crisis and move toward confidence!
