Safe Horizon, the only New York-based organization selected, is participating alongside Charity Cars, Family Justice Center Alliance, and the YWCA.

“The Allstate Foundation selected these non-profit organizations as contenders for the grants because of their strong leadership and programming in the area of domestic violence and economic empowerment,” said Jennifer Kuhn, Program Manager, The Allstate Foundation Economics Against Abuse program. “Rather than having us select the primary grant recipient, we wanted to get the general public’s input on which services they believe to be most crucial in assisting survivors of domestic violence.”
