PricewaterhouseCoopers celebrates the holidays at Build-a-Bear with Queens Community Program!

Thanks so much to the wonderful staff of PricewaterhouseCoopers, which hosted a special holiday party at the flagship Build-a-Bear store on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan! Families from the Queens Community Program had the chance to spend an evening with our friends at PricewaterhouseCoopers, building their own stuffed animals to take home, singing lots of songs, playing fun games, and sharing some delicious snacks. The party was topped off with the presentation of a $5,000 donation to Safe Horizon’s programs!

This event was made even more unique because it was funded by the employees of PricewaterhouseCoopers, who raised much of the funds for the event through an in-office raffle and bake sale, with the company matching their contributions.

One mother at the party said, "Thank you so much for this. With everything [my kids] have been through, they really needed this."

A grandmother who brought her granddaughter said, "This is spectacular. I couldn’t have given her something this special."

Thank you to Build-a-Bear for such wonderful entertainment and thank you to our partners at PricewaterhouseCoopers, for providing our families with a celebration filled with the spirit of the holidays.
